Inovatum AS develops advanced ROV tooling and turnkey prototypes. The company was started by people with more than 20 years in roles such as ROV Supervisor, ROV Manager and Operations Manager at Racal, Thales, Fugro, DOF Subsea, Argus and Selantic.

In 2013 we established Inovatum Lifting in response to market demand for more cost-efficient products, and invented INOshackle™: a subsea ROV shackle that runs on water and air instead of oil. It made operations safer for people and the environment, and cut the time needed for some operations from 36 hours to 4. INOshackle™ has since been acquired by Møllerodden AS, who now own and sell the product.
